When designing the resort, an emphasis was placed on complementing the natural environment. Traditional materials were used alongside indigenous ideas to create the resort. Each of the 44 villas is built with the traditional Alang Alang thatched roofs, in keeping complete harmony with the environment. Every villa has contemporary Balinese decor with hand crafted furniture, exotic fabrics, open air dining areas and jaw dropping master bathrooms.

Chefs at The Hanging Gardens of Bali take guests on a 5 star culinary journey, using modern and innovative cooking techniques that combine global flavours with high quality ingredients. Guest who wish to forego a more traditional dining table can enjoy a dinner for two on a volcanic rock pillar in the resort’s award winning swimming pool, or a picnic served in a balé on the banks of the Ayung River.
